Condolences
I was shocked to learn about the passing of Galen. I am the pastor of the Grace Baptist Church in Taylorville and we often came to the Moweaqua Bowling and Cafe for a church activity. I always looked forward to seeing Galen and fellowshipping with him. He always had a smile and was always very helpful. He and his family honored us by coming to our Friend Day at the church last year. We will greatly miss him and our deepest sympathy is extended to the family.

Greg and I were so sorry to hear about Galen, he was a great person. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sheila and all the family. He will be missed as he is the face of the Moweaqua Bowl and loved by all who knew him. Hold all the great memories close to your heart and know that he is always with you.

I was truly saddened to hear of Galen's passing, words can't really convey the depth of you, Galen your children's service to Moweaqua, and surrounding communities.
Take care.

So sorry for your loss. Galen was a great man! He treated all of us that ever worked for him like family. Even after we moved to Effingham we could always come to him to get some great deals for our concession stand! I've been friends with Steve ever since being at the Bowl, over 15 years ago! My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time.

Not too many people are made like Uncle Galen. He was a man that would do anything for anyone at the drop of a hat. Anyone can tell he had a daily walk with the Lord. Our Christian character reveals our faith in Jesus. Christian character is what Galen had.
Psalm 76:23 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.
Never forgotten a loving man. He was many things to many people, to me he was an Uncle and my brother in Christ.
I know someday I will see him again in Glory. Friends I ask you. Can you say the same? Will you see him again? Ask the Lord for forgiveness and repent of your sins before it is everlasting too late.
Matthew 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Turn to the Lord for strength and comfort. He will provide for you.
My heart goes out to the family. I will pray for you. I love all of you.
We will miss you Galen,
God bless you
